Behind the Scenes of "The Eternal Space," A Play About Penn Station's Demolition
This Thanksgiving, our Chief Experience Officer reflects on his gratitude for the play that changed his life!
One way to visit the inside of the Manhattan Municipal Building is to check out the very under the radar art gallery located inside the Manhattan Borough President’s office. This month, there is an exhibit for Women’s History Month dedicated to women’s political history which includes photographs, posters and political campaign ephemera from women candidates and causes throughout the years.
Tonight from 6 to 8pm, there is a reception to mark the official dedication of this gallery as the Maggi Peyton Gallery, in honor of Maggi Peyton, whom Borough President Gale Brewer’s office describes as “a politico, feminist, and longtime aide (and curator of the gallery) to Manhattan Borough Presidents.” There will be speakers and refreshments and the event is free. The exhibit will also be on view Monday to Friday, from 8am to 6pm.
Next, take a video journey inside the Manhattan Municipal Building and check out 9 other ways to celebrate Women’s History Month this year.
