Weylin Seymour has gorgeous photos of the restoration of the Williamsburgh Savings Bank that’s just off the Williamsburg Bridge. It’s being converted into an event space and banquet hall, with a hotel next door. The $18.5 million restoration job has basically recreated what was there, after the space had seriously deteriorated. We previously covered the bank in a look at why Williamsburgh is spelled with an “H” in some places and not others. More photos here.
