12 Time Capsules Discovered in NYC
From the Westinghouse Time Capsules to one of the oldest known, these artifacts help us to understand what the city was like in the past.

The Harvest Dome, a floating installation of 500 broken umbrellas and empty soda bottles, by SLO Architecture, moved from Inwood to Governors Island this morning in preparation for the art fair. We were invited by SLO Architecture to track its movements by barge (as we did on its initial launch from the Brooklyn Navy Yard to Inwood). According to Curbed, it’s got a selling price at the art fair for $20,000! Here’s the play by play of today’s movements in photos, accompanied by smashingly great weather.
