The Wonder City’s second book wraps up this week with yet another cliff hanger. Velma realizes with Jack gravely ill, she may have to take matters into her own hands with Owen and their new-found mission to relocate the lost Parelzaad that was wrapped around Lizzie’s neck when she disappeared on Coney Island. There’s big-time trouble brewing for Velma and Owen as darker forces start moving in on their mission.
