This Banksy mural has been out of view for more than ten years, but now it can be yours. The heart-shaped balloon dotted with criss-cross bandages made worldwide news when it appeared in 2013 on the wall of a warehouse in Red hook, Brooklyn...and set off a tagging war.

Within days, the piece outside the Vassilios family's warehouse at 142 King Street was defaced by two other graffiti artists. One artist left his tag in front of a crowd of onlookers and news cameras. Banksy shortly returned to make his feelings about that known. Below the tags of Omar NYC and Shane, the elusive British artist stenciled "is a little girl" and "I remember MY first tag."

The mural, extracted from the demolished warehouse on a 6x9-foot, 7,500 pound piece of wall is now, on display inside the Winter Garden at Brookfield Place. The piece is set to be auctioned off live on May 21st, with a portion of proceeds going to the American Heart Association. Would you make a bid?
