We checked out the pop-up shipping container market at Pier 57 this weekend, which is a preview for the upcoming upcoming renovation into the SuperPier, a $200 million food and retail complex arriving in 2015. Construction begins next month. Some highlights:

Fashion boutique Opening Ceremony also has its own pop-up at Pier 57 for Fashion Week. Opening Ceremony will be one of the anchor tenants in SuperPier, along with a climbing gym from Brooklyn Boulders and a spa and restaurant by Andre Balasz:
