Art Nerd NYs Street Art Hotspots – ROA’s Squirrel Mural

Welcome to our new weekly column on the latest street art finds by our friends at Art Nerd New York.

Belgian artist ROA‘s black and white animal murals can be found across the world. This large squirrel piece is on the side of delicious Blue Bottle Coffee (which has these coffee-making contraptions that we swear brew heavenly coffee from children’s tears). ROA’s animals are somehow grim, not that that is a bad thing, and in general his pieces are respected, and left untouched.  The squirrel in particular is guarded by the high fence of the car lot, so has remained for a few years.
