They will discuss LILAC’s historic and vital work of tending lighthouses and buoys for the U.S. Lighthouse Service and Coast Guard from 1933 to 1972; the non-profit’s efforts to restore the ship to run on her rare and intact steam engines; and the cultural and educational programs we offer now that she is operated as a museum.
