7/12 | 7/13: Manhattanhenge Event at Hayden Planetarium

For those that love the Manhattanhenge event, the twice yearly phenomenon where the sun aligns perfectly with the Manhattan streets, it’s coming up on July 13th! The Hayden Planetarium is hosting a preview event  on Tuesday, July 12 at 7pm. Join Jackie Faherty for a visual explanation of Manhattenhenge using the state-of-the-art Zeiss Mark IX star projector and Digital Universe atlas. It’s  $15 ($13.50 for Members, students, seniors).

Then on July 13th, head to 42nd Street or 34th Street to catch it in action:
