There’s a Scrabble Street Sign in Jackson Heights, Queens
A sign commemorating the inventor of Scrabble mysteriously appears, then disappears, in Jackson Heights, Queens.
The bridge is named for the once-dangerous channel it bridges, derived from the Dutch word hellegat, which means “hell channel.”
