When I emerged from border control at Charles de Gaulle Airport Terminal 1, I was happily presented with a little beach oasis complete with colorful lounge chairs and a faux beach floor. It’s not the only place in the terminal–another area with a beach backdrop was spotted in Terminal 2 (no fake sand though).
