With sales underway and amenities now complete, join Untapped New York for an exclusive tour of The Bowen, a striking new residential conversion in Downtown Brooklyn. Explore the sophisticated interior design by CL-OTH Interiors, taking in the building’s designer model residences and full suite of luxury amenities—including a residents’ lounge, imaginative children’s playroom, and an expansive roof deck. Also on view is a site-specific art exhibition, A Room of One’s Own, featuring immersive installations by contemporary female artists Mallory Page, Trish Tillman, and Shavana Smiley that explore themes of sanctuary, personal pursuit, and creative expression.
Developed by Urban Development Partners, The Bowen is a 71-residence boutique condominium in Downtown Brooklyn that reimagines a stately 1925 brick building for modern living. The transformation more than doubles the building’s original height, seamlessly blending historic character with contemporary architecture to create a distinctive residential community rooted in Brooklyn’s creative and cultural spirit. Located at 289 Schermerhorn Street, The Bowen celebrates Brooklyn’s architectural heritage while embracing its evolving cultural identity.
